A Marathi lagna patrika follows an older, fixed order than most Hindi cards, and families notice when a line is missing. There are two samples below, one from the bride's side (वधूपक्ष) and one from the groom's (वरपक्ष), and then the pieces you can swap in: charoli, aagrahache nimantran and WhatsApp messages.

चि. सौ. कां. stands for chiranjeevi saubhagyakankshini: "may she live long, and wishing her a happy married life". It is used only for the bride, before the wedding. चि. alone is the groom. The other formal words on cards are explained on wedding card terms.
The muhurt time is exact to the minute because that is when the mangalashtak ends and guests throw akshata over the couple. Guests plan around it, so put it on the card even if nothing else has a time.
Some families add the Shaka year and tithi from the panchang under the date: "शके १९४८, मार्गशीर्ष …". Ask the family purohit for it rather than working it out yourself.
आग्रहाचे निमंत्रण
आग्रहाचे निमंत्रण means "a warm, insistent invitation". Under it go the relatives who join the hosts in inviting you: the father's brothers, the grandparents, the wider family. It plays the part that swagatakankshi and darshanabhilashi play on a Hindi card.

सस्नेह निमंत्रण means "an invitation with affection". Some cards use it as a heading at the very top instead of सप्रेम नमस्कार.
लग्न पत्रिका चारोळी
A charoli is a four-line verse, printed under the invocation or above the programme. These three are ours to use freely.
मांडव सजला, तोरण दारी, सनई वाजे मंगल सुरी। आशीर्वाद द्यायला या सारे, वाट पाहतो आम्ही घरी॥
दोन जिवांची गाठ बांधली, देवाच्या साक्षीने आज। अक्षता टाकायला या तुम्ही, पूर्ण करा हा मंगल साज॥
For the bride's side:
हळद लागली, मेंदी रंगली, सजली आमची लाडकी लेक। तिच्या आनंदात सामील व्हा, हाच आमचा आग्रह एक॥

Before you print
Read the names aloud to an elder in the family. A missed uncle under आग्रहाचे निमंत्रण is remembered longer than a spelling mistake.
Check the muhurt with the purohit once more, after the patrika is designed and before it is printed or sent. And if most of your guests will get it on WhatsApp, keep the aagrahache nimantran list short enough to read on a phone screen.
